Essex County Computer and Electronics Recycling
Essex County holds Computer and Electronics Recycling Days every Spring and Fall. "Recycling computer hardware and electronic devices helps remove lead and other dangerous chemicals from our waste stream, which is important for us and our children, " said County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. County computer and electronics recycling free and open to all Essex County residents (proof of residency required). Collection takes place at the Essex County Fleet Maintenance Garage, 99 West Bradford Avenue, Cedar Grove. Items accepted include computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners, telecom equipment, speakers, televisions, keyboards, main frames, VCRs, stereos, DVD players, toasters, irons, and old cell phones.
