This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Glen Ridge Eco-Fair, to be held in conjunction with the borough’s 41st annual Arts Festival! Join us for a family fun festival where you’ll enjoy a spectacular lineup of vendors and participants! Shop for last-minute gifts for Mother’s Day, explore our Auto Evolution Show displaying cars from antiques to electric. Learn about rain barrels, composting and vegetable gardening, enjoy fresh local cuisine and all day live entertainment and performances by local musicians including our very own high school jazz band.

Each year, we bring your favorites; Home Depot is back showcasing eco-friendly and cost-efficient products, while kids can build a backyard birdhouse or picture frame at their workshop. Visit popular vendors such as Pearl premium grass, Yogic Chai, Oak Lane Soaps, Rain Lily, Young Living essential oils. You’ll find organic skin care products, hand-made jewelry. Grab a jar of Glen Ridge honey from our own Bee Bold Apiaries. Herbs and native plants will be on sale and you can even make your own terrarium. Sign up for a raffle and take home free gifts of flower and tree seedlings from Freeman Gardens and the Shade Tree Commission and start a new family tradition to celebrate spring. PAWS volunteers will be on hand with adoptable animals, so stop by and meet a possible new best friend. Don’t miss our Recycling, Composting, and Vegetable Garden stations. Learn about Essex-Hudson Ice and Iron Greenway, a new proposed local rail line that promises to bring exciting family outdoor adventures to our area in the coming years, thanks to Walk Bike Montclair. Compare the Chevy Volt and Bolt to the Audi E Tron and Toyota Prius. Check out the Girls Club Up-cycle Clothing boutique and many more.
The Glen Ridge Eco-fair and the Arts Festival renew our community’s commitment to promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle and a greater respect for the environment in which we all live. By promoting these services and products, we hope to encourage everyone to become more conscientious about our choices and purchases. Indeed, it takes a village.
The Eco-Fair is sponsored by the borough’s Environmental Advisory Committee, the Glen Ridge Women’s Club and Pearl Premium Grass. As in past years, it is held in conjunction with the Arts Festival, making all-day live entertainment by local musicians and food concessions a vibrant part of the day’s festivities. So, mark your calendars for a can’t-miss town-wide celebration! For more information, please visit our website at www.goglenridgegreen.org or contact Megan Giulianelli at email@example.com.
